Join us on International Women's Day on March 8th as we celebrate and empower the entrepreneurial spirit of women. Not your typical Wednesday afternoon, this is your chance to connect, network, grow and hear inspiring stories from successful founders.  

All of this will be happening in Epi-style over some drinks and snacks. We make sure that there is plenty of time to make meaningful connections before and after our official schedule. You are always welcome to join the discussion and ask questions of our speakers.

    Fadumo Ali
    CEO & Founder at Hoiwa

    Fadumo Ali is the founder of Hoiwa Oy, a social and health care company, and in 2021 she was selected for the list of 100 Healthcare Influencers of the Year and Espoo Entrepreneur of the Year 2022.

    Fadumo set out to solve the shortage of healthcare employees in Finland. In two years she has brought about multiple changes in the sector, including raising nurse salaries and helping organizations to recruit staff quickly and flexibly. Hoiwa already has over 6000 workers in long and even one-day contracts.

    Ilona Mooney
    CEO & Co-Founder at Work Ahead

    Ilona Mooney is a startup founder, coach and advisor. Her company Work Ahead develops video survey technology that enterprises and investors use for hearing feedback directly from workers, smallholder farmers and communities in emerging markets. Before becoming an entrepreneur, Ilona lived in six countries, worked for organizations like EY and the United Nations, and started a program for startups solving global development challenges at the technology conference Slush. She holds a Master of Science in Technology from Aalto University.

    Jaana Komscha-Härkönen is a visionary HaaS (Happiness as as Service) entrepreneur as CEO and Founder of Breaks Finland, working to revolutionize employee well-being, engagement and integration services. She is driven by her mission and has gathered an expert pool around her to bring her vision to life. She excels in inspiring people, taking brave actions, and leading in times of uncertainty.

    CEO & Co-Founder at riskrate

    riskrate allows growth faster with less risk by giving unique, business-critical insights about products, customers, and money flow using machine learning and big data.

    Before riskrate, Päivi was the head of the Treasury for several family-run and Nasdaq-listed global companies.

    CEO & Founder at Velbi

    Piia is a tech startup founder, CEO and engineer. She likes building things with impact and helping people. She has worked on 4 continents, mostly on projects that have seemed impossible at first - and made them happen. She is a burnout survivor, and now she is ending burnouts at work with her startup Velbi.

    Stina Dansie
    CEO & Founder at Good Call

    Stina has been crowned the Cold Calling Queen of Finland due to the outstanding sales results her and her team have achieved for their clients. She is changing negative connotations linked to cold calling by coaching and consulting sales teams of growth companies of all sizes. She shows how cold calling can be good calling when done with research, professionalism, and grace. Her positive energy, ideas, human-centric approach and get-it-done attitude set her apart.

    Stina’s Cinderella story spans from years spent in the USA as a stay-at-home mother to returning to Finland to create her Finnish American Dream here. She went from cleaning hospital rooms to working as a strategic sales consultant to CEOs and leadership teams. She has gained a loyal customer base of some of the largest companies in Finland and in the World.

    Stina launched her company Good Call in 2017. Good Call provides sales and market research, booking services, and sales coaching and consulting services. Her company has brought a breath of fresh air to the Finnish sales scene.

    Emmi Paunonen

    Emmi is an experienced and award-winning content marketing professional and marketing generalist. Gets excited about well-organized and effective team work, creative storytelling and new interesting industries. Emmi will be showcasing her paintings, a series called "Good Enough" at Epicenter starting in March. The paintings represent her personal journey towards self-acceptance and remind viewers that they are good enough just the way they are. "I paint mostly soft bodies, and in my paintings all the bumps and rolls are visible. The more you see things, the more you start to find them beautiful."
